Went to the local exhaust shop today and had him fit 2x 3" tips on the standard muffler for the wagon.
Nothing special but just makes those little pissy standard tips look a little beefier. Only cost me $20 after all.
They just pop straight over the old ones and then welded on.
have u got a pic to see what it looks like from the drivers side?
simple mod with a good outcome :)

Doesnt look to bad, as long as the tips arent loose or rattle in anyway its a good mod.

theyre not held on with clothes pegs, theyre welded, shouldnt make a sound, very simple and effective, good stuff

They were stainless when i got them.
I tossed up leaving them stainless but stainless goes that goldy colour with heat over time.
Also tossed up chrome like on the misses KJ AWD but Nah, didnt want them to stand out to much. I had them stainless for a few hours before i painted them and it didnt seem to suit.
Here is a side on pic.
Also a pic of the chrome on the misses KJ AWD.

Did they do the welding too for you for that price? I was looking at my exhaust the other day and it looks like ****, the black would be nice on my black TL. If this mod is $20 fully "intalled" etc. then I'm hitting up for sure.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
Yeah it cost me $20 supplied and fitted but saying that, i get all my exhaust work done at this bloke and know him well. He is a top guy and wouldnt charge much more than that to a stranger im sure.
All the tips were was a 90deg bend of 3" stainless that he chopped in half making to identical 45deg bends.
Thanks mal, yeah i have a soft spot for the good old KH wag.
Out of all the Veradas i have owned including the KJ AWD, the KH has never cost me anything other than maintenance and consumables (+ what ever simple mods we have done to it) and she still runs as smooth and well as the day i bought her even with 135,000k's on it unlike the other rada's where there is always something small going on with them.
