I Recently managed to pick up a very rare prototype grill from what I think may have been development work for a Series 4 380.

Interestingly the date stamp on the underside of the grill shows that it was produced October 07, around 3 months
before end of production was announced on Feb 5, 2008.

I always wanted the grill chrome plated like this. What do you all think of it?

Looks a little like the ones they used on the Platinum Edition 380s. Looks very nice against the blue.

Mitsu emblem is FAR too large, but the grille itself looks great!

is it just a chromed version of what i have on an s1 GT (would have been used on other meodels too, just dont know which ones.) so maybe its just someone who got a little bored created it custom? or did you pick it up from somewhere more official?
looks quite good with the low spec headluights. not sure how it would go with the blacked out ones however...

The badge should be black or red as it just does not impose

it is sort of lost with all the chrome

Looks good! Goes nicely against the silver headlights. Front end is missing something silver in the lower grille though (just don't do one of those DIY mesh jobs).

There are less than a handfull of those grilles... Look after it! :hmm:
